Star Wars: The Old Republic- Jedi Under Siege - Ossus Caves

On this project, my role was to help build Ossus, and to make it feel intricate as possible minding player path, engine constrains, and memory budget. For these areas I was in charge of every world building aspect starting from a very basic blockout. The most challenging part was creating "high fidelity" cave interiors using only one cliff rock mesh. The transition cave served as a gold standard for the rest of the caves in the planet. My job consisted of: polishing layout, set-dressing and propping, lighting, terrain sculpting and vertex painting, terrain painting (including pebbles and flora), VFX placement, collision, rooming, level polish, and optimization.

All assets were created by other artists, with some being kitbashed by me. Special thanks to, Carrie Meade (Art Director), Jason Moulton (Environment Lead), Zachary Schlanger, Colin Wagner, and the rest of the SWTOR team.
